Mr. Joe W. P. Krukowski (Chairman)
The board of directors is under the guidance of Mr. Joe W. P. Krukowski, the new Chairman. Mr. Krukowski is certainly a true leader as he brings with him countless years of experience in corporate finance from his long time affiliation with the Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce (CIBC). Mr. Krukowski has held numerous positions in the senior management of CIBC, the most recent of which is Senior V.P. of CIBC West Indies and President & C.E.O. of West Indies Holdings Ltd. Mr. Krukowski's culmination of many years of experience, strong financial background, and formidable reputation, makes him worthy for the position of Chairman of the Board.

Mr. Felix Stubbs (Vice Chairman)
Doctors Hospital 's principal commitment is the one it has made to the Bahamian community. Doctors Hospital continually works towards the betterment of the community we serve. Mr. Felix Stubbs presently serves as the Chairman of Junior Achievement Bahamas and is a member of the Salvation Army Board of Directors. He has devoted much of his life to improving the Bahamian community and has been instrumental in enhancing the lives of countless young Bahamians. As Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Stubbs will maintain the focus of commitment to the Bahamian community.
Not only does Mr. Stubbs share

's passion towards helping the Bahaman community, but he also has good finance management experience. Having attended several business programs in the

United Kingdom
, Mr. Stubbs has achieved many hours of training and practical business experience. In 1982, Mr. Stubbs was appointed General Manager of IBM Bahamas Ltd., and as a result of his guidance through numerous challenges, the company was able to enjoy a long period of growth and prosperity. This is one of the greatest testaments to Mr. Stubbs' strong business background. As the Vice Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Finance Committee, Mr. Stubbs will be able to utilize his vision, foresight, and knowledge in developing and improving the company.

Mr. Jeffrey Robertson (Secretary)
Mr. Jeffrey Robertson has held the position of Secretary of Doctors Hospital's board of directors since 1991 and during that time he has contributed greatly to our organization. Currently, Mr. Robertson is the President of Bahamas Wholesale Agencies Ltd. (B.W.A.), and brings to the board more than thirty years of managerial experience. Mr. Robertson has held executive positions and has gained tremendous managerial experience from such reputable companies as Schweppes Distribution Depot London in the
U.K.
, Solomon Bros. Ltd.
Nassau
&
Freeport
and Solomon Bros. Ltd. Wholesale/Club.
Besides having a very strong business background, as a philanthropist, Mr. Robertson exudes generosity and willingness to support his community. Mr. Robertson has performed a great deal of community service over the years as a Past President of the Rotary Club of East Nassau and as Past Secretary of the Rotary Club of Freeport. However, the greatest testament to his efforts in the community is the overwhelming success of Project Read Bahamas. Before it was known as Project Read, it was known as the Functional Literacy Programme, and Mr. Jeffrey Robertson was its Founder. Mr. Owen S. M. Bethel
Perhaps one of the most challenging aspects of running a business is having effective financial planning.

However, his most notable achievement is establishing Montaque Securities International Ltd. in 1994, where he is still President and Managing Director. All of these accomplishments are evidence of Mr. Bethel's vast knowledge of business finance and corporate law.

Bethel
Dr. Keva Marie Bethel continues to be an invaluable part of

. Dr. Bethel taught for sixteen years at
Government
High School
and later joined the College of the
Bahamas
where she rose through the ranks to become Principal of that institution in 1982, having received a doctorate in Educational Administration from the

, the year before. She headed the College from 1982 until 1998. Most recently, Dr. Bethel served as Chair of the National Advisory Council on Education in the
Bahamas
, and currently chairs the Education Committee of the Bahamas Government's Student Loan Programme. Throughout her more than forty year long career, Dr. Bethel's work in education has extended beyond the confines of The Bahamas, and she continues to be involved in educational affairs throughout the
Caribbean
.
In addition to her strong educational background, Dr. Keva Bethel is well respected in the Bahamian society. She has gained considerable experience in business affairs serving as director for several companies including Bahamas Supermarkets Ltd., Cable Bahamas Ltd. and the Finance Corporation of the Bahamas Ltd. Furthermore, Dr. Bethel has received many prestigious awards, including the Outstanding Businesswoman Award of the Business and Professional Women's Association and the Chamber of Commerce Award for Government. As Chairman of the Physician Hospital Organization, Dr. Diggiss has a unique understanding of the jobs of the various physicians employed at Doctors Hospital, and as the Chairman of the Risk Management Committee, Dr. Diggiss has a distinctive appreciation for all of the risks and legalities associated with the everyday operation of a hospital, and works toward the safety of patients for the best possible outcome. Accordingly, Dr. Diggiss' knowledge and ability to effectively communicate these perspectives makes him a valuable asset to the Board of Directors.

Mr. Leroy Archer
In 1978, Mr. LeRoy Archer graduated from St. Anne's High School where he was head boy, and where he attended both primary and high schools. After graduating from high school, joined the staff of the Registrar General's office where he remained for one and a half years, while he attended night classes at the College of The Bahamas.
He joined KPMG in 1981. The accountant trainee took a study leave and went to Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, Florida, where he attained a bachelor's degree in accounting. He returned home in 1985 and rejoined KPMG. Six months later, the firm sent him to Boston, Massachusetts to work in its office there. He remained in Boston for three years. In June 1989, Mr. Archer returned home to the Bahamas and shortly thereafter, he entered the employ of Commonwealth Brewery. He became a Certified Public Accountant in September 1989. In 1990, he was appointed Financial Manager of Commonwealth Brewery Limited.
Mr. LeRoy Archer would be an invaluable addition as a member of
Doctors Hospital's Board of Directors. Mr. Archer would contribute greatly to the financial aspects of the company, as he comes to us with over fifteen years of experience in the area of finance. He previously served as Senior Auditor of KPMG offices in Nassau, Bahamas, and Boston from January 1986 until February 1990.
In 1997, Mr. Archer left the Bahamas once again to assume the post of Financial Controller at Heineken's regional financial office in Miami, Florida. He stayed there until December 2000 when he was sent to St. Lucia to assume the post of Managing Director of the Heineken Brewery on the island.
Mr. Archer's global experience with Heineken has taken him across the world to many countries including Amsterdam, Germany, Greece, Italy, Spain and Ireland. In 2000, He traveled to Athens, Greece, in order to receive the prestigious "Financial Manager for Heineken Worldwide" award. Mr. Archer is the first and only Caribbean person to have ever received this distinction.
Mr. Archer has held positions such as Senior Auditor, Financial Manager, Regional Financial Manager and Managing Director until his present appointment as Managing Director at Commonwealth Brewery ,Ltd., Bahamas.
Mr. Archer and his wife of seventeen years, Joyanne, have threechildren, two sons, Barrington and Jordan, and daughter, four year old princess, LeeAnne.

, where he acquired his M.B.A. in Health and Hospital Administration. Later he held administrative and directorial positions at Mount Sinai Medical Center, American Medicorp Inc., and Doctors Hospital of Hollywood before returning to the

in 1979 to be the administrator of

Hospital
(then The Rassin Hospital). Mr. Rassin brings an extensive wealth of knowledge in the healthcare industry and is the first and only Bahamian who has achieved fellowship from the
American
College
of Healthcare Executives and awarded a Life Time Member of the American Hospital Association.
Mr. Rassin is currently the Chairman of Project Read Bahamas and served as the Co-chair of the Coalition for a Safe Bahamas until 2003. He is currently a Director for Bahamas Supermarkets Ltd., a position held since 1996. Mr. Rassin's community involvement is palpable through his active role in Rotary as Past President and Past District Governor of the
Northern Caribbean
. He is eternally committed to improving the Bahamian community and advancing healthcare in The Bahamas, and expresses this commitment through his management of

. Mr. Rassin has served as Chairman of the Board of Doctors Hospital for the past four years and has exhibited great leadership capabilities and a vast knowledge of hospital administration.
