DOCTORS HOSPITAL DR. MEYER RASSIN FOUNDATION CONTINUES ITS COMMITMENT TO PROVIDE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE TO STUDENTS WITH HEALTHCARE PURSUITS

The granting of an academic scholarship can be a life changing experience for many students who would not otherwise be able to attend college, if it were not for generous benefactors.  Thanks to the Doctors Hospital Dr. Meyer Rassin Foundation, more bright minds will be able to realize their dreams and maximize their potential. 

Created in 1999, in honor of the late Dr. Meyer Rassin, the Foundation continued its commitment to students with interests in healthcare recently by funding several recipients with scholarship monies to assist with their health career pursuits.  Having met the stipulated requirements, the applicants who have all achieved a grade point average of 3.0 and higher and have been accepted to an accredited college or university, were awarded financial assistance by the Foundation.

A philanthropic mechanism through which individuals, trusts, foundations, estates, businesses and other organization may invest in healthcare in the Bahamas, the Doctors Hospital Dr. Meyer Rassin Foundation exists to provide scholarships and financial assistance to persons pursuing education in all areas of healthcare, to financially assist persons in need of medical treatment who are unable to afford it.              
The Foundation invites the public to share in its commitment by helping those in need for years to come.  Each contribution received adds value and strength to the foundations achievements.  Your gift is an investment in the medical process and the health of a community and makes a positive impact today and in the future.
