Promotes Charles Sealy II to Chief Executive Officer

Doctors Hospital, provider of quality healthcare in the Bahamas, is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Charles Sealy II to the position of Chief Executive Officer effective July 1, 2007. Mr. Sealy will be responsible for the day to day activities of the organization and report to the President and the Board of Directors.

The Doctors Hospital Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring the continuity of senior management leadership. As stated by Mr. Joe Krukowski, Chairman of the Board, “This restructuring is a part of our ongoing strategy of developing a strong succession plan for the organization, to ensure the sustainability of capable management as we go forward. This promotion is a success of and a part of that strategy and it also frees up Barry Rassin to focus his attention on future growth strategies for the company including the development and implementation of board approved expansion as necessary to keep Doctors Hospital at the forefront in Healthcare.”

Mr. Sealy joined the company in 1999 as a Coordinator and quickly rose to Vice President and most recently the Chief Operating Officer. As a Member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, his Masters Degree in Health Administration from Western Connecticut University, along with his experience at the Hospital, and his temporary appointment at Baptist Health System in Miami, Florida has prepared him well for this promotion.
